Instructions for the completion of a DVD/ videotape
(Submitted as part of the Conducting Apprenticeship Application)
The DVD/ videotape should include the following:
- a 15-20 minute rehearsal
- a 5-10 minute performance (can be different repertoire from that on the rehearsal recording)
Accurate track information that includes:
- Title and composer of selection
- Timing of track
- Date on which track was originally recorded
NOTE: If submitting a videotape rather than a DVD, the above information must be recorded as a verbal introduction on the tape itself, not indicated in written form on the videotape cover.
Total length of the DVD/videotape should be 25-30 minutes.
Repertoire List
Please include with the submission of the DVD/ videotape a list of the repertoire that you have conducted over the past two to three years. Categorize it by works studied, works rehearsed, and works conducted in performance. Repertoire that has been performed as an ensemble member may also be included and categorized as such.
