National Youth Choir Conductor Search Guidelines
The candidate must be a Canadian citizen or landed immigrant, be a member in good standing of ACCC, and be actively working in the Canadian choral community.
Nominations may be submitted by:
- conductors of the general ACCC membership
- former National Youth Choir conductors
Selection criterion is based on:
- letter of nomination
- candidate’s established record of excellence in choral music making
- candidate’s established career as a choral conductor
- proven ability of candidate to work effectively with singers aged 18-25
Nomination submission should include:
- letter of nomination
- completed nomination form
- biography and brief CV (if possible) of candidate
- names of two conductors who support nomination
