  • are the national voice and forum for Canadian choral music and musicians.
  • are your national advocate for all components of the Canadian choral community.
  • are your national resource for professional development and employment opportunities.
  • are your national communication link within the Canadian choral community.
  • publish the journal, Anacrusis, the monthly e-newsletter, Choral Bytes, the Recommended Canadian Choral Repertoire series, and the ACCC Membership Directory.
  • administer the National Youth Choir/Choeur national des jeunes and the NYC Conducting Apprenticeship program.
  • administer Podium, the national biennial conference that focuses on professional development, resource dissemination and performance opportunities (May 20 - 23, 2010, Saskatoon, SK).
  • administer the Canadian Choral Competition (formerly the CBC National Radio Competition for Amateur Choirs) and the Choral Composition Competition.

Our greatest strength is our membership.
Membership is open to anyone interested in choral music. Although most members are active conductors, ACCC's members also include composers, arrangers, choral administrators, music educators and choristers.

One-year memberships fees, in Canadian dollars (as of the September 1, 2009):


  • Individual: $90
  • Institutional: $90
  • Student (full time): $40
  • industry: $150


Optional:


  • Membership in the International Federation for Choral Music $100 CAD
