Job Posting: General Manager for Vancouver Bach Choir (est. 1930)
The General Manager has oversight responsibility for all
aspects of the 150 member Vancouver Bach Choir, including
but not limited to:
• financial planning and management, grant applications and
fund development
• marketing, publicity and public relations
• general management and administration of the day to day
operations of the choir
• working with the Board of Directors in implementing the
vision and goals of the VBC, reporting on all aspects of
the operations on a regular basis

Piano Accompanist Wanted
Piano accompanist position available at St. Helen's Anglican Church, Orleans. Our contemporary liturgy, encompassing a variety of musical styles, is enriched through an exciting music ministry team which includes a 20-member choir with choir director. This part-time position requires a commitment that includes Thursday choir practice and Sunday worship services as well as other special practices and services such as at Christmas and Easter. Remuneration is commensurate with experience.

University of Regina Music Department Position
The Province of Saskatchewan and the City of Regina maintain vibrant choral environments made up of school, church and community choirs. The Department of Music at the University of Regina, a flexible, responsive and dynamic team of performers and scholars, invites applications for a full-time, two-year-term position in Choral Music at the rank of Assistant Professor, commencing September 1, 2010. The successful candidate should hold a DMA or PhD in Music and have a proven track record as a choral conductor.
The successful candidate will: direct the University Concert Choir and the University Chamber Singers; establish and maintain local and national recognition as a choral conductor; teach courses in choral techniques and choral conducting; teach ear training and sight-singing courses. Other teaching responsibilities may be assigned according to the needs of the Department and the background and abilities of the candidate. The successful candidate will recruit, advise and retain students and, potentially, supervise graduate students in choral conducting.
